The YWCA Children’s Christmas Sale
Saturday, Dec. 8th, 9am - Noon
Children are invited to shop for gifts for their family at piggy-bank prices! All items are under $3. For children ages 4 to 12. There will be free gift wrapping and snacks too! OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
Get in the Spirit and volunteer!!
Have a knack for gift-wrapping? Love helping kids? The YWCA needs you!!
Last year they had more than 200 kids attend the sale and between helping kids shop, wrapping gifts, and serving snacks – staff and volunteers had a blast! Remember, parents of their little shoppers can’t see what they are buying so they need volunteers (age 13 and older) to help them pick out gifts for their family! It’s a GREAT experience!!
They also need donations!
Can’t make it to the sale but still want to help create a wonderful event for kids? Check out this list of needed items. Every little bit helps!! Donuts (25 dozen), Muffins/Cookies (25 dozen), Milk (25 gallons), Bottled Water (360 bottles), Orange Juice (25 gallons), Boxes (shoe boxes preferably), Wrapping Paper (TONS!), Bows (no time for ribbons!), and lots and lots of TAPE!
