Scribner's Gallery & Studio open

Shane and Sara Scribner have opened their art gallery in downtown Enid at 127 S. Independence. The gallery will showcase local and Oklahoma artists along with their own work. The artwork presented in their gallery is the original creation of fresh new artists whose work is represented through paintings, sculpture, photography, drawings, jewelry, book arts and mixed media.
The work spans from the classical nude, still life, landscape and portrait to modern realism. Touching on abstract, mixed media, sculpture and modern photography.
In addition to the gallery, they plan to teach art and possibly sell custom jewelry. The building is not only an art gallery but also the couple's home.
After investigating a number of locations in the United States, including Tulsa, the Scribner's decided on Enid as their home. They came to Enid to visit relatives and ended up liking it here more than Tulsa.
The building has 1,500 square feet of gallery space with a total of 8,000 square feet throughout. The first Friday of every month, they will feature a new artist with a wine and cheese night at the gallery.
Stop by and enjoy a new art experience! Visit their website.
