Don't forget about Crazy Day! The sales have started and there will be shopping to be done on Saturday, July 28 - Enid's Crazy Day. Shop at almost any store in Enid this Saturday and you're bound to find some crazy bargains.

Remember the "good old days" when store employees were dressed in costumes and downtown was wall to wall shoppers and merchandise?

Together Again!

The Evans retail store and the Evans Pharmacy are back together again. After spending a short period of time next door in the adjoining building, the Evans Pharmacy has moved back into the store but this time located near the entrance of the store.

The move will help customers easily find everything in one location. Customers can now drop off their prescription, pick up a pager and go about shopping the store. Customers will be notified when their prescription has been filled.

Evans began in Enid in 1897 and offers a variety of departments including hunting & fishing, greeting cards, hardware, cosmetics, seasonal and has it's own photo processing lab.

Get Out And Vote!

If you are a registered Republican or Democrat you need to get out and support your party in today's primary elections.

Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 25.

Positions up for grabs include the 3rd Congressional District seat, the governor’s race and the lieutenant governor’s race.

The local District 3 county commission seat along with the House District 40 and 41 seats are also up for grabs.

Now you know so don't forget, get out and vote!

Champlin Park

These are the latest changes going on at Champlin Park. A winding walking track has been added along with dozens of new trees. The latest addition has been the installation of light posts throughout the park. If you haven't played at Champlin Park lately, stop by and enjoy some fresh air today!

July 4th Celebrations

Meadowlake Park will celebrate July 4th with it's annual fireworks display. The Enid Symphony Orchestra will play assorted songs that will be choreographed to the fireworks. Take your blankets, chairs and snacks and get a spot early to beat the crowd. Things should kick off around 8:30pm.

The annual Fishing Derby will also be held from 6 am to noon at the park with cash prizes for tagged fish. Fishing licenses will be required for people 16 and older.

Oakwood Country Club will also be celebrating with it's annual fireworks display and evening buffet. Fireworks will be at dark on hole #10. Pick your spot early.
