The Garfield County Fair is here! Get out and visit the fair carnival and see the exhibits at the Garfield County Fairgrounds and Chisholm Trail Expo Center. The fair begins Thursday night will continue through Saturday. Carnival rides are open Thursday and Friday evenings and all day Saturday.
Everyone is encouraged to show up and participate!!
Bikes For Trykes! A fundraising bike ride, sponsored by Enid Noon AMBUCS, will be held on Sept. 30 at 8:00 a.m. The event will take place on the west side of Mark Price Arena in downtown Enid. The early entry fee is $22 for registration before Sept. 15 and $27 after that date.
Pre-register at The Bike Shop, 202 W. Randolph, or register from 6:30-7 a.m. the day of the ride at Mark Price Arena. The bike ride will raise funds for AMBUCS AmTrykes, and will include 10-, 22-, 35- and 50-mile routes.

Freedom Walk! Enid was the first city to join the Defense Department’s “America Supports You” program and is preparing to host a Freedom Walk on the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States. Enid became an America Supports You partner in March 2005.
Enid will host its Freedom Walk on Sept. 11 at David Allen Memorial Ballpark with a Freedom Walk and hot dog dinner. The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Advance Food Co. and will feature a patriotic program, during which the crowd will be invited to walk a lap around the infield of the ballpark to show support for America’s troops and to memorialize those who were killed.Everyone is encouraged to show up and participate!!
