Enid, Oklahoma was hit by one or more tornado’s at 6:59 p.m. on June 6, 1966. Destruction was scattered across town with 131 homes being damaged and many brushes with death although there were no deaths reported. Reconstruction costs were estimated to be $3 million. Here are a few photos and newspaper stories.
